What I EAT In a Day to LOSE weight & stay HEALTHY (CLEAN EATING RECIPES) under 1500 calories

hey ladies,
As you know I have lost 62 pounds and today I am going to show u that I don't starve myself or do any crazy diet.  I eat clean, healthy and nutritious.

So here I want to share my video with u guys. I show u everything I eat on  a very regular day. Everything comes around 1500 calories. I am also nursing my 1 year old so I have to eat 1500 calories otherwise I would eat 1300 calories if I wasn't nursing him.

I am also showing you the recipes of the things I am eating in this video.

MY BASIC GROCERY LIST FOR A CLEAN AND HEALTHY EATING DIET

HEY GUYS,
when I started eating clean and organic I totally emptied out my fridge, freezer, and the pantry. I wanted to start clean and fresh. I committed to myself. I limited the days of eating out to just one day. when ur going organic you need extra money, unfortunately (u don't have to go organic its just my choice. CLEAN EATING DOESNT HAVE TO BE ORGANIC). so I thought why not limit eating out as its pretty expensive and not even healthy anyways (halal restaurants are pretty expensive)


                         so my first healthy grocery list looked like this:
note: I recommend buying the stuff that has a long expiration date in bulk because its one time investment and lasts forever.




PRODUCE:
strawberries
blueberries
bananas
apples
grapes
mushrooms
baby spinach or kale
bell peppers (each of all colors I LOVE THEM ROASTED)
broccoli slaw (just my preference)
roma tomatoes
onions
green onions
carrots
avocado
cucumbers
sweet potatoes


DAIRY:
all natural nonfat greek yogurt
low fat mozzarella cheese
cage free eggs
all natural eggwhites




GROCERY:
hummus
low carb tortillas (just my choice u can get other cleaner kinds)
pasta slim (extremely low in calories)
organic extra virgin olive oil ( Costco is always cheap for this)
organic extra virgin coconut oil
almond milk
chia seeds (great source of protein)
hemp seeds
cacao nibs
pam olive oil spray
plant based protein powder (I got plant head brand)
quest bars (snacks for on the go)
raw almonds
unsalted sunflower seeds
black beans (for me anything canned HAS to be ORGANIC)
frozen corn
brown rice
quinoa
organic tofu
edamame beans
banana dippers
dark chocolate
almond butter
pb 2 powdered peanut butter
oats
frozen peas
stevia packets
liquid stevia
raw honey






MEAT OR SEAFOOD:
chicken breast - boneless and skinless
raw shrimp- cleaned ones
wild caught cod or tilapia (only fish that don't taste too fishy, I hate salmon :(  )
canned tuna in water - low sodium
extra lean ground beef
extra lean beef steak




after getting all the stuff store them nice as recommended so they last a long time. organic produce tends to go bad very fast so make sure only buy limited amounts per week. keep your bananas away from the other produce as they release substances that makes others go bad fast. freeze the meat or seafood and store them in small amounts so you don't have to defrost the whole bag just to get one piece out.


once I got all the basic stuff now I only go weekly shopping for mostly produce and dairy. and I cook everyday different things out of these ingredients. I don't like eating same thing every day.

CHANGED MY LIFESTYLE AND EATING CLEAN TO LOSE WEIGHT

HEY LOVES,


                     So I have been eating clean as much as I can and trying to control my calories. I am also breastfeeding my newborn and for the record, my diet is actually helping me produce milk and my baby is gaining weight just fine so no worries.


                        So I have lost 20 lbs so far in about 2 months and I need to lose a lot more cuz I had gained too much during my pregnancy. so I am just hanging there and being patient.






The stuff that I have eliminated or changed in my diet is:


NO PROCESSED SUGAR
NO CHOCOLATE
NO MILK (it irritates my baby's stomach and pretty higher in calorie n I just prefer almond milk)
NO YOGURT (I prefer Greek yogurt cuz its fat free yet so creamy and high in protein)
NO CHIPS
NO COOKIES
NO WHITE OR PROCESSED FLOUR
NO WHITE RICE
NO PASTA
NO JUNK FOOD




The stuff that I use:


BROWN RICE
NONFAT PLAIN GREEK YOGURT
ALMOND MILK
DARK CHOCOLATE
STEVIA OR RAW ORGANIC HONEY
LOW CARB TORTILLAS
LOW FAT CHEESE
COMPLETE PROTEIN BREAD FROM TRADER JOES
ORGANIC PRODUCE ITEMS
ORGANIC CANNED STUFF (IF USING ANY)
ORGANIC EGG WHITES MOSTLY
ORGANIC EGGS
EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL OR COCONUT OIL
CHICKEN BREAST
WILD CAUGHT COD
SHRIMP
SHIRATAKI PASTA
TOFU IN SHAKES OR SCRAMBLED
FRUITS
VEGGIES
NUTS AND NUT BUTTERS
MICROWAVED INDIAN POPADUMS
EDAMAME BEANS FOR SNACKING
QUINOA
CHIA SEEDS
BASIL SEEDS
ALL NATURAL PROTEIN POWDER

                 The list above is just what was on top of my head... I am pretty sure u can eat a lot more things. THESE THINGS ARE JUST WHAT I USE AND WHAT SUITS ME.

MUCH HEALTHIER AND CHEAPER " MY CHIPOTLE STYLE SALAD OR BURRITO"

Assalamulikum...
hey guys,, as u would know from my last post that now im into the health food.. I recorded this video about a few weeks ago. when ur on a diet and u go out its crazy hard u either feel left out or u end up cheating. what I try to do now a days is that I stay home and cook YES COOK WITH A NEWBORN AND A 3 YEAR OLD.... but yeah I find cooking so much fun....thank god finally... but we still eat out only once a week,, I think that's acceptable. :)

okay so the video I was talking about is my second food video (im still getting used to it).. first thing to tell u is that I LOVE CHIPOTLE (I don't get any meat though cuz its not halal) but everytime we go I end up making bad choices like white rice, corn salsa, sour crème, n etc.... their stuff is much higher is calories and we don't know where exactly its coming from and how they r treating the food that's in my bowl and not to forget that they charge a lot for just a few ingredients. u can make a much healthier, yummier, and cheaper chipotle style food at ur home. watch my video below and let me know if u have any questions and what u think about it. I GAVE BIRTH TO A BABY BOY AND IM BACK

OKAY SO,
I had my baby in December via c section. it was kinda easier than my last delivery.
now I am on a quest to lose weight. I have gained too much. now a days I am breastfeeding and at the same time I am trying to lose weight by eating healthy and stay under my calories (offcourse after adding my extra 500 calories for breastfeeding)
So far I have lost 9 pounds and still going strong. Alhamdolillah you guys can see my work and progress on a new instagram account I made called healthyfooddiaree. I post my healthy and mostly clean and organic food pix . this account helps me stay on track and associate with other fitness instagrammers. I try to follow the people with a similar intention as me and get inspired by them and also inspire others. I am enjoying trying to reach my new goal.
